A friend gave me this necklace a decade ago as a box full of beads. I strung the beads on strong nylon-coated-steel tigertail wire and added a sterling clasp from Bali.
I cherished this piece for many years, but the time has come for it to find a new owner to love it.
Native-made Squash Blossom necklaces are highly collectible and sell for anywhere from several hundred to several thousand dollars. I presume this piece to be sterling silver, though I have not tested it.
