Peep shows were popular establishments from the 1960s-1980s, where one could purchase brass tokens and then enter a room with a curtained window. You would then place a token into a slot and the curtain would open, revealing an erotic film or a live performance.
Some of these hard-to-find vintage brass tokens feature a zodiac sign on one side with a corresponding personality trait and sex position on the back. I love making these into lockets with the innocent zodiac sides facing out and the naughty images inside. They are in effect tiny wearable peep shows, known only to you and those with whom you share its cheeky secret!
Each locket is lacquered to protect shine, and comes on a raw brass chain. Each token is slightly larger than a US quarter. Locket features a rounded token on the front and a flat token for the back. The sexual images are always on the inside of the locket, with the zodiac signs facing outward on the front and the back. Each token was minted with a specific position correlating to each specific sign - please do not request for me to change the images on the tokens as I do not have control over that part :)
Please allow for subtle differences and “imperfections” in each piece. There were different pressings of these tokens with minute differences in design, and some pieces may have a bit of wear from their former life of use in the peep show house. In addition, each locket is made by hand. Occasionally interior "naughty" images inside of locket will be upside-down, depending on how the token was minted.
